Ziad Aba Al-khail is the Managing Director and CEO of Aljazira Capital since 2010.

Ziad began his career as a management consultant with Accenture, the global consulting company. Subsequently, he joined Bank Aljazira as Head of Operations in 1994. During his tenure with Bank Aljazira, he has held several senior executive positions, including Acting CEO of the Bank in 2007.

Ziad holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Southern California.

Ala’a Al-Yousef has been with AlJazira Capital since 2008. At Aljazira Capital, Ala’a heads the client service and distribution functions and responsible for Sales, the Dealing Centers, Alternative Delivery Channels, and Aljazira Capital’s Investment Centers Network. Ala’a has played a critical role in raising the level of customer experience & investment services to the highest standard. Prior to joining AlJazira Capital, Alaa’s sales and customer relationship management experience of over 25 years was with Riyadh Bank & Bank AlJazira.

Ala’a holds a bachelor degree in accounting from King Saud University.

Walid has joined Aljazira Capital in 2010, and has been responsible for the successful development of the Asset Management Business in the company.

Walid possesses in excess of 25 years of experience in Investment Banking, mainly Asset management.

Prior to Aljazira Capital, Walid held several senior executive positions, including that of CEO of The Investor Securities and CEO of Al-Bilad Capital. His prior experience also includes senior management positions at SAMBA, AlRajhi Bank and SAMA.

Walid holds a Bachelor degree in Business Management form King Abdulaziz University and an advanced Diploma in Banking and Finance from University of California, Riverside.

Mohammad Alromaizan is the Assistant General Manager- Chief of Regulatory, Risk and Control in AlJazira Capital. He has over 14 years of experience in the banking and capital market industry.

Prior to Aljazira Capital, Mohammad served with the Capital Market Authority and Riyadh Bank.

Mohammad is a Member of Institute of Internal Auditors, and has completed various certifications in compliance and anti-money laundering in addition to Treasury Products.

Mohammad holds a Master degree in Financial Economics from Boston University.

David Sparling has been with AlJazira Capital as CFO since 2010 and brings over 20 years of finance, risk management and compliance experience in the financial services sector to the role.

Prior to joining AlJazira Capital, David held various senior management positions at Citibank London, Citibank Russia, SAMBA Financial Group, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and Ernst&Young, Ireland.

David holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a post graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting from University College Dublin, Ireland. David is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.

Asim Mumtaz has been appointed Head of Investment Banking at Aljazira Capital (AJC) on May, 2018. In this role, he leads the teams responsible for Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Placements, Equity and Debt Capital Markets.

In his previous role, Asim led the professional teams responsible for Equity and Debt Capital Markets at Saudi Fransi Capital (SFC). Asim joined SFC in 2015 as Head of Debt Capital Markets.

Prior to joining SFC, he worked with two major banks in Canada for over 16 years within the Global Capital Markets.

Asim holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Wilfred Laurier University, Waterloo, Canada and is a Chartered Professional Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants Canada and Certified Management Accountant designation from Institute of Management Accountants of Canada.

Maher Al-Nunu heads the Margin Finance Division of Aljazira Capital.

Maher joined Aljazira group in 2001, where he started in the International Investment and Brokerage Department at Bank AlJazira.

Prior to joining Aljazira Group, Maher was the Sales Manager of one of the industrial groups in KSA.

Maher holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Administration from King Abdulaziz University.

Mohammad Qadous heads the Strategy and Corporate Development Function, which covers Strategic and Business Planning, Product Development, Performance Management and Logistics.

Mohammad Joined Aljazira Capital in 2004, and managed the effort of Aljazira Capital licensing and segregation in 2008. Prior to Aljazira Capital, Mohammad gained a multinational consulting experience through working with Accenture Consulting in the Financial Services Practice.

Mohammad holds a B.Sc. In Industrial Engineering and Quality Management from the University of Jordan, and is a certified Project Management Professional.

Turki Al-Harthi Heads the Human Resource at Aljazira Capital. He has been with Aljazira Group since 2005. Turki’s experience covers all Human Resource aspects such as training, recruitment, employee care, and Payroll.

He holds a bachelor in Human Resource Management from King Abdulaziz University.

Talha Nazr Heads the Research at Aljazira Capital. He has 10 years of experience in equity research covering multiple sectors. Talha joined Aljazira Capital in 2012 as a Senior Financial Analyst. Mr. Talha Nazr has an MBA in Finance and has also passed CFA level 1 exam.

Hikmat is in charge of the Operations since July 2015, he was part of the team that designed and implemented our order management system back in 2001. He joined Aljazira Group in 2003, and was responsible since then for securities related systems. After the segregation of AJC in 2008, he moved to AJC as the head of IT, and grew the IT team to cover all related functions. Prior to Aljazira Group, Hikmat worked for Temenos, SBM, and Cap Gemini. He holds a Master degree in Information Technology from University Paris Dauphine in France.

Naim was an instrumental part of the original team that brought TadawulCom (the flagship, online trading platform of Aljazira Capital) to the forefront around 2005. He has been with Aljazira Group since 2004 and played several roles from the Head of eServices (covering the online trading platform(TadawulCom), Online Banking (Aljazira Online) and the public website (AljaziraCapital.com)) to becoming the head of Development at Bank Aljazira and then the Enterprise Architect at Aljazira Capital to finally holding the role of Head of IT at Aljazira Capital. Prior to joining the group, Naim worked for Estarta Software solutions as an architect and the head of the Mobility unit and worked for One World software solutions as a lead developer and architect. Naim holds a BS in Computer Science and a post graduate diploma in Network Centered software development.
